Jack Lavhengwa Secondary School
On the 7th May, in partnership with the MCT Foundation as well as the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, we had the honour of being hosted by the Jack Lavhengwa secondary school as part of our 2025 eyecare awareness drive. This extraordinary school is a no-fee, Quantile 3 school located in Khalavha village, Venda in the province of Limpopo. The hard working Principal, teachers and support staff look after 199 bright learners. Our hard working team managed to screen 152 learners and 60 of those learners went through comprehensive eye testing. After the comprehensive eye exams, 49 leaners were identified as learners most in need to receive prescription spectacles.
